Plan A Good Death

If you're in your 20's, 30's or 40's, chances are you have no idea how important the acronyms CBO, ROP, or IUL are for your family's financial future. If you're like 80% of Americans, you likely have no idea what life insurance coverage you currently carry and how expensive it is to get when you're older. If you're lucky, you may have heard the term annuities, be familiar with mutual funds and have considered retirement planning at some point in your life.  If you're like most people though, the concept of planning a good death and enjoying a memorable retirement are constantly getting put on the backburner.

Plan Early

Stop making excuses and start making progress. Do it now and make it sooner rather than later. Choose to take responsibility for your life and plan yourself a good death. Take care of your family while you can so they can take care of each other when the time comes. Talking and thinking about death is an uncomfortable conversation none of us enjoy. However, if we choose to face the one thing we are guaranteed in life, it can be a tremendous motivator. Acknowledging death, choosing to respect it and taking action to prepare for it can be an incredibly empowering action that gives us the drive to live our lives more fully and focus on the things that are truly important.

If you take the appropriate action now, you give yourself and your family the security you deserve. The earlier you plan, the more options you have available to you and the more financially beneficial those options are. Insurance and financial planning are measurable actions you can take to provide you and your loved ones the assurance you need to weather any financial storm you or they may face. The value of security is priceless. And that alone should resonate with you.

Prevent The Hardship

To prevent your family from having to deal with a major financial hardship in the future, take action now.  Truthfully, no one likes to think about death, let alone talk about it and plan for it. The funny thing about death, it's the only guarantee in life from the  moment we are born. The fact of the matter is, no one in your peer group or even your family likes to talk about it and chances are, no one has talked to you about the true value of life insurance, life planning or retirement planning. If they have, you have heard enough to truly understand the value of it. Life gets busy and urgent tasks often get prioritized over important tasks. When it comes to protecting yourself and your family, don't let this important task be one that gets put off until something terrible happens.

Die A Good Death

We all know, the only time these conversations about death typically come up, is when someone close to you or to someone you know, dies. When people are forced to deal with the consequences of poor planning, it can cause major disruptions in life and create tremendous hardship on top of an already emotional situation. Don't let that be your legacy. Plan and prepare while you can so you have security later.
